After exrensive negotiations with the powers that be, ie the wife, count us in. She won't go on the boat though. So I may or may not take the boat depending on wether the engine is back in in time. If it is, then it will. If not it won't.

Not at all! The berthing arrangements so far are provisional and can be varied when numbers and boats and their sizes are a bit more definite.
