    Sounds about right. Be aware that the Perkins 4107 is the worst engine ever built and may be raw water cooled.

    I've had enough of seawater cooled power packs. I'm an absolute novice to the inland system and still have doubts but I've now sourced a RLM 33 with twin Leyland 2.5's. Don't know anything else about them but will try and see them next week. Thanks v much for the heads up

    There are a couple of ex-military 4108's on ebay at the moment. Knowing their use I would imagine they are fairly low hours and would generally have been well looked after. £1000 each.

    Second worst engine ever made and far too expensive at a grand a piece. Whereas the Leyland 2.5 is the second best engine ever built (after the 2.2).

    There is an RLM 31 bahama for sale with a pair of 1.9 peugeot diesels in on enfield outdrive on the broads, it is the one featured on the leomagill.co.uk website.
    I have the guys number if anyone wants it or can pass on a message.
