    Wow, great saving made. I bought some 10mm and 20mm for my DD Engine anodes,they are cheap in the states, but the carriage to get them here kills it. A few hours on my pals lathe and I've got enough to last a couple of years.

    Not necessarily. I bought mine (about20) from USA a year or so back, I had no tax or extras to pay.

    Bought 2 x 250 x 10m/m zinc rods from Solent Anodes ( via ebay) for £9.90, drilled the exosting brass bung out from 8 to 9.5m/m & pressed the anode in with the engineers vice. it took 5 mins.

    BoatPartsAndSpares.co.uk appear to have the anode only for £5.

    I think the Peachment price may be for anode + plug, but I'm not sure.
