Hello Gang,

This morning, I received notification that my Kannad EPIRB is being recalled. Given that they replaced my initial unit for a recall reason, I am wondering if any of you received the same recall notice.

Is this becoming an annual event for Kannad? I created a thread on 20th February, 2016 for the same thing? It covered Kannad Safelink EPIRB with GPS (Auto and manual versions) Part nos. K1202311 and K1202367 respectively.

I've just checked and you posted on that thread and assume your replacement would be the same model I received. No letter yet, I'll keep an eye open.

Did they give specific details of model, date etc. in the letter? I think that I received a Safelink SportPro+ GPS as replacement original Safelink EPIRB.
