    Default Bog Heaven ?

New boat has a manual bog with a curious little plastic bottle "T"ed into it.
Was going to remove it and one less thing to worry about.
However robbed the grandkids sweet allowance jar and purchased a "PuryTec" refill @ £8.00
Blimey wot a difference, much more fragrant, cleans the bowl and obviously has some sort of lubricant, now much much easier to pump. !

    The active constituents are

    extract of orange (smelly, lubricant)

methyl salicate (aka Oil of Wintergreen) nasty stuff produced by plants to get rid of flies and beetles by pheremomes.

    There's an environmental warning:

"Toxic to aquatic life. Lasting long term effects" So, probably best used as an antifouling perhaps
I think, therefore I am. I am, therefore I sail.
