    Default Aluminium Boat Identification

Hi all, I am new to the Forum and I wonder if you can help identify an old aluminium boat which I inherited from my late father. It has been stored for a long time buried in my brother's back garden under weeds and various other items. I managed to 'rescue' it and trailered it to my garden where it has been kept covered. I have been told that it is probably 1950s-60s. I have some photos so can send them to help with the identification.
    Regards Phil

Boat identification is a passion for some posters, Phil. Do you know how to post pics ?

One problem with aluminium buried under vegetation is that corrosion can have had its evil way....

Lots of threads recently to find a photo host that works sympathetically with YBW.

You might get an answer here, but much better chance of getting an answer on the CMBA forum, just google it, no need to be a member to sign up.

In aluminium I know of Albatross, Pearly Miss and Simmonds from that era and its none of those.

Re the Imgur photos, she looks as if she might be an American boat from the 50's or 60's - especially re those very retro style cleats and fittings. It might be worthwhile asking your question on the Powerboats section of the Boat design Forum in the USA :
