    Default Fairline targa 43 (whitsander)

Looked at a targa 43 yesterday with a friend and wondered if anyone knows of the history regarding this boat. Generator been replaced with one too small to cope, table in cockpit missing, fridge replaced with tiny compact version, ladder into engine room missing. Etc Seems strange for a 300hour boat. Please pm me with regards info

Part sinking? Are you sure gen has been replaced and is not a new install in a non Med boat.

Lying on Thames Windsor . I was told boat was originally in Spain then returned to uk (Plymouth) then re exported to Spain and now back in uk. Generator was HFL as you can still see where the legs bolted to the floor, it now has a small paguro style replacement that I'm sure will not run the a/c. Also the galley teak and holly sole is in two halves just butted together.

    Postby whitsander » Fri Jun 13, 2014 9:41 am

hi, can any one help me with any advice on the removal of Volvo pentas from a targa 43
it looks as if the deck mould is in one while the garage floor and seat moulding appear to be removable it looks impossible to remove the engines without cutting something !!
    any advice would be appreciated

Are the engines Volvo Penta 63P's ?

Do you have reasonable access around the engines especially on the outside or are the tanks tight to the engines.

Bandit ... you have misread the post, I am inquiring about history of a targa 43 that is for sale and I found the post regarding engine removal for the boat dated 2014. Many thanks though. ( Ps they are 75p's )

Has it been sunk and re-floated? Absolutely no knowledge of this particular boat but it all sounds a bit suspicious.

Where is it in the market from a price point .
    Top , middle ,bottom ?
    How many are available ?
If it's not on your doorstep ,ask for more pics and if it's complete , or modified .
If it's cheap @ the bottom ask why ?
