    Default New running rigging

I need to treat my old fun to some new lines. Who is the guy on here who sells rope? I like to support local shops and British business.

Best deal is to buy either reel ends or discounted whole (100m) reels and make your own halyards and sheets. I have always found Marine Scene competitive.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, and I hate giving bad feedback, but just to ensure that no one makes a potentially costly mistake, Marine Scene presently only sell LIROS Allround 151, not LIROS Top-Cruising 152. The Liros product description for 151 is:

Economical, all-purpose sheet for Cruising boats. Minimal water absorption, easy to handle, abrasion resistant - heat set.

    • working stretch < 8 %
    • handy, economical and winch-ready sheet
    • cover construction with good abrasion resistance
    • Well-suited for yachts up to 40 feet

There are some inaccuracies in Marine Scene's current description it would seem.

Have you informed your supplier so they can sort the description?
