    I’m shocked. Where do you keep your boat? My boat lives afloat in Portsmouth Harbour Entrance and would need scrubbing at least monthly if I didn’t antifoul her.

    The boat as she came out at Fairlie Quay.
    Coppercoat, 5th year, some green slime, worse on the port side, perhaps 25mm long, I think that's to do with the prevailing W to SW wind keeping the boat heading that way on a swing mooring.
    Launched in April, out end of September, no mid season scrub.
    I thought that the green slime was bad, after seeing the photos in the thread, it seems quite good.
    She's a Southerly with the keel up.

    Mine's in Thornham Marina, Chichester. Yes by midseason I have a crop of baby barnacles but one scrub off clears them. And at the autumn haul out the boat needs a pressure wash to shift more of them. But I'm not into racing so loosing half a knot between times is no big deal.
