    Default Dinghy LED nav light

I have been looking for a battery operated LED all round white on a small pole to clip on the dinghy transome. The one shown is ideal and cheap but comes from Australia with high postage costs. I can find plenty of all round white nav lights on small poles but they all seem to be 12v wired in the UK. Anyone know where I can get one of these or similar in uk?

Solar Garden light would do it just fine.

A bicolour and ARW kit https://www.force4.co.uk/attwood-por...CABEgIikPD_BwE

A Navisafe ( bendy or telescopic poles available) https://www.gaelforcemarine.co.uk/en...iABEgJz1_D_BwE

    From Force4, but suction mounted , https://www.force4.co.uk/force-4-led...ite-light.html

I cant find the ones I was looking for .... maybe NLA but if I find them I'll post the details.

You might, if you are lucky find a solar garden light that you can adapt. Often they don't direct the light out in the direction you want. I modified one with a different reflector a few years ago with a view to using it as an anchor light but I left it in the garden all winter and the frost got at it!

Thanks VicS for the references- the marinesuperstore one looks best to me, LED and got a clamp for a transom and not too pricey at 29. The aussi ones are only about 15!

I have and use a Navisafe one which I find very good. Mine has a magnetic fastening, just a disc which attaches to the underside. You can fasten it to say the cowling of your outboard, disc inside light outside or don't laugh - do as I do on the top of my hat. That way there are no blind spots and it does not dazzle you at night either works brilliantly and no need for a pole or other fixing.

Been using one for years but we carry a back-up torch.

Especially in the Ria de Formosa.
