    Roy we motored from Liverpool to Conway then Carnarvon and back and found nothing in the sea water strainer ,that was 2 weeks ago .

    when I went tope fishing a couple weeks ago I got stung plenty just retrieving anchor warp. Belly armpits the lot. Was eina sir. I nearly cried

    to be fair those pics showed concentrations brought on by tide and currents. But there are huge amounts out there. Jelly fish can be a right nuisance blocking intake pipes and the gauze in the baskets after the impeller has chewed them up. I have worked on ships off West Africa where the things crippled intake pumps and brought production to a halt. Just a note to Roy to watch temps and do daily checks on the baskets and carry a couple spare baskets in case.
