    Default Single line reefing.

Is there a recognised ‘standard’ arrangement for the lines and coach roof clutches?
Left to right would it be Halyard, Topping lift and Kicker to port, with Reefs 1, 2, 3 to starboard?
Or does it not matter as long as you know your own boat?

May be constraints due to where the ropes lead down from the mast and boom.

For example quite common that reef 1 and reef 2 are lead from opposite sides of boom, and therefore to avoid friction when crossing over are led to opposite sides of main hatch.
Hence we have Main halyard and Reef 2 to Port, Kicker, Reef 1 and 3 to starboard. No topping lift as solid kicker.

I like to have all the ones I want at the same time on the same side. So reefs 1 & 2, main halyard, topping lift to port. Genoa 1, spinnaker, kicker, pole uphaul and downhaul all to starboard. Genoa 2 is to port but we only use it to haul things on board, like the dinghy.

    I don't think these's a standard, I'd assume every boat is different.
But the main halyard clutch is very often Port side nearest the hatch.
I think it's nice to be able to use one winch for the reef line and another for the halyard. It means you can preset the halyard on the winch, dropping it a marked amount.
