    You don't see many of them around these days but the craft was good enough to be selected as a training boat by the JSAST. They had the 23's as well.

    My Dad bought one new in 1970 we visited the factory at Royston and apparently viewed his boat,very good price and excellent sailing boat

    New Bombay Trading Company Explorer 44 built in Key Largo Florida in 1978.

    She is a fast old lady and lives in the Eastern Caribbean currently Guadeloupe which is my favorite island.

    Here's Vim, my 1969 Co26. She's had an unusual life and has only been afloat for nine seasons, rest of the time covered-up in a barn! Complete time-warp, very original and in much better shape than her owner.

    Reminds me of a chap who walked past us in the boat yard, he said, " last time I saw this boat was when we called in Guadeloupe" kind gave you a nice feeling, or guilt as we sat on shore in the UK.
