By way of an update, we are now waiting for a new machine which enables surgery with virtually no bleeding, uses super heated solution which cuts to as little as .3mm depth & cauterise at the same time, has settings for liver, bowl, pancreas etc. Will make procedure much safer, mortality down from 30-50% to near normal. Will be available around June.
In the meantime going to get the boat back in Essex so I can use it locally, south coast is too far at the moment. Bit of a bummer virtually righting off another year but light at end of tunnel, with luck.

The new option for surgery sounds positive and getting the boat to the East Coast sounds like a good move as you will be able to use it. Wishing you well for the surgery and hoping that you get some time on the water.

    30-50%
    Flip

Waiting to reduce those odds has to be right.

All sounds good, Allso moving the boat nearer to home , will at least give you a chance to use it without a trek to the south coast.

Sounds like bleeding edge technology, literally! Im sure the recovery will be far quicker with that process - might get some autumn boating in still...
    Good luck
