I enjoyed both this and his other book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Foolish-Ody...5060866&sr=1-2

Any other Kindle recommendations of good salty seadog tales? I had a look through Kindle Store the other night and nothing much really too my fancy, that I haven't already read. This is my sort of thing. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Martin-Edge...061055&sr=1-10

Our first boat was a Caprice very much like Shrimpy. It felt like quite an adventure to take it ten miles down river - I could not imagine crossing the Pacific in one!

Not too sure about the successor to shrimpy. He just got scared and abandoned his boat a few days after leaving Falmouth. Shane sailed for 8 years or so. An interesting read though.
