I agree, my ready reckoner suggests 10.2 hours to Marlow, then you have a bit more river and another lock so 11 hour minimum I think.

I used to work at Harleyford and Shepperton Marina (same group) and could easily do a delivery in a day just about making first and last locks. Need another couple of hours from Tedd. BUT that was a number of years ago when every lock was manned although it was far busier. An early start or late finish with manual locks is within easy reach.

As been mentioned that does of course depend on what time of year and any closures.

Itís also a very nice cruise !

Transit times depend of time of year ?, in winter ie. Jan, we have exited Thames PDQ , invariably straight in, always alone in lock, lockie simply opens all the taps at once and you are off minuites later .
Even at known squeeze points such as Bray.
Also possible to maintain your 8kms over entire journey without let or hinderence
Not quite the same in high summer, especially on nice bank holidays.

Why go screaming up the river?
Break the journey at Shepperton marina, that is if you're going to be a Harleyford customer - same group reciprocal arrangements.

Once you're at HF, you won't want to g downstream ever again.......

When are you planning on going?
Molesey Lock has been shut for months and will be for weeks to come.
