Default 2 Stroke Petrol Engine - Dolphin 2 water in cylinders

Hi all looking for advise is possible, I have a heavenly twins cat with 2 x dolphin 2 - 2 stroke engines fitted which are direct drives.
One of the engines if fine no problems at all the other has a problem with water getting into the cylinders. i have inspected the head and block all good and renewed the gasket torqued to correct settings. But still getting water into the pots, both engines have a wet exhaust system with water locks and mufflers. I have checked the waterlock on this one and have found that inside the waterlock a pipe has corroded and come off so i am hoping that is the problem. Anyone come across this before ?
    Thanks
