    Default Guernsey 2019

    Why go there.

As many shops were shut, awaiting sale. The information in hard form was all 2018 and the scend in the marina was of putting.

Rubbish was also in much evidence.

seemed more interested in the Cruise ships than yachts.

Yes, they could do a lot better but on the basis of the convenient location it is a bit of a honey trap so the attitude seems to be why bother.

We are all annoyed about the increase in rubbish on the streets, some explanation here:

Guernsey is a convenient place to stop at on the way to Brittany from the Solent if you don't want to do it in one passage.

    Yes.
I normally anchor in Havlet bay, then pop in for fuel before heading on.

But Havelet Bay slip is now useless and shut off due to the Nov storm.

I don't go ashore, I prefer Jersey these days. If I'm going to stay I go into St Aubin and dry out.
