The 3000 I quoted was in Euros, not that it makes that much difference. And that is what it will be next year, this year it is "only" £2,250 per month.

Pete - how much would berthing be for a 61 footer?

Just a couple of points on the cost of Balearic mooring -
There is a severe shortage of larger berths as marinas were built when there were very few boats over 50 feet so there were relatively few berths needed whereas now a starter boat for many is that size or more.
IMHO Mallorca/Ibiza are the best places in the Med for boating so there is constant demand not only from visitors but mainly from people who have property as well as a boat.
Prices for berths of 40 ft (12mtrs )or under aren’t too bad, the big prices come with bigger boats

If you think that berths are expensive, you should see the price of property on Ibiza . It’s supply and demand.

What's your beam? I'll scan and post the price list this evening.

Kashurst / Adey, do you have the price lists for Alicante?

In Torrevieja International Marina, list price for a 20m berth for a year would be @ 5,500 euros plus VAT and G5 tax (probably about 1,500 euros), 30 mins from Alicante airport. However you would probably get it for less through local broker renting out privately owned berths.

And there I was thinking my Years berth on the Norfolk Broads at £1600 was expensive

According to my spreadsheet, it would be €21k p.a. Not SCM prices by any means but a good bit cheaper than Cala D'Or.

K, that seems really cheap compared to where we are. Why is it so much dearer to the North?

What's it like south of Alicante?

Do you have a price list for Alicante itself?

Whitlighter got me prices form St Carles and they were silly expensive ( E2k less than Cala Dor for winter. It seems only the private berths are cheap.

The Island is pretty full and the reality is that supply and demand are at play. Personally I think they are cruising for a bruising as politically they are anti tourist and the weed thing will I believe cause a load of grief this year .... and boats can move.

I love Mallorca and thing the cruising is 10/10 - however there are other places to go and anything gets boring after a while.
