Default Boat delivery - Sant Carles to Southampton

I am looking to transport a 46’ yacht from Sant Carles de la Rapita to Southampton and wondered if anyone can give me any idea of the ball park cost, and recommend reputable firms who do an overland trucking service.

Welcome to the forum, it might cut the cost if you go by road to Cherbourg and sail the rest.
Others will know better than me of Transport Companies and costs

Or overland to La Rochelle area, to where there are numerous empty trucks returning from SofF to Jeanneau and Beneteau factories, then get delivery crew for the rest.
I'd rather be tethered to a pad eye than tethered to an iPad.

Or get a delivery crew for the whole trip - no liftouts, no unstepping/restepping mast, etc.

Halcyon Yacht Delivery often posts videos on here of their trips, maybe ask them for a price - https://www.halcyonyachts.com/

Is that viable from Barcelona to La Rochelle? A very long detour around Iberia with a lot of uphill work.

the draught will make a big difference to the road transport cost. You cant use autoroutes as their bridges are often only 4m high.

I brought my mobo back from SCM about 5 years ago using coast to coast. Flybridge mobo so quite tall. I took off radar, windscreen etc but taking the compass off reducing height by a further 2" saved 100 road miles. They measure the height on the lorry and put it into a lorry specialist satnav.

If you can be flexible on dates he will be flexible on price in this direction.

By sea quite doable though. In a mobo the cost of fuel would be about the same at d speed, cheaper for you. I've done the trip before and intended to do that with mine but a new work contract got in the way so she went on a lorry. Apart from a delay due to a ferry strike, it all went smoothly. I didn't bother sail the cross channel as there is much to do once she's off the lorry - that is best done at your home berth IMO.
