Default Wind Speed/Direction - checking functionality

I've got a Raymarine ST60 unit, the mast has recently been down for a re-rig and I kept the mast unit on board until it was re-stepped. Whilst the mast was down I did a basic clean of the connections at the masthead connector and put some petroleum jelly in to lubricate and reduce corrosion.

The mast was re-stepped, the head unit reinstalled by the rigger and after wiring back up I'm not getting any display at the ST60 display.

Is there a way of checking functionality by checking say voltages at the mast base and the display unit to ascertain whether it's the vane unit, the wiring or the display unit that are at fault?

Not sure what else I could do to correct as the vane unit appears to be working well and certainly spun quite happily when it was off the mast so I dont think there are any bearing issues.

All suggestions welcome as to what to do next
