    This should perhaps be in the For Sale section but it's not for sale it's free! So if anyone wants it in Suffolk/Norfolk area please send me a pm (I'm moving house and I'm in the getting rid of stuff phase).

    |I think it is Scandinavian; certainly in ice prone waters such as the Baltic regular buoys are no good, because the ice carries them off, so for very many years painted timber spars anchored one end down have been used instead.

    How, is a stake or withy, a buoy?
