    Default Updating Charts

Having a couple of hours spare this afternoon, I decided to update some charts. However, when I went into the UKHO website and entered the first chart number, and asked for the relevant NM's, the last one was dated 2012. I have applied 10 corrections since which don't appear on the list, the last one dated 2017.

I'm now totally confused as to what has happened to these 10 corrections, and are there any more outstanding.

    Anybody any ideas?

I tried another couple of charts, and they are all the same.

I think what happens is if the chart has been reissued then all the previous NMs no longer show up on the Admiralty website. Check the issue date.

    That's correct. Spot on.

Now, Rowana if you want to up-date your south-east England charts go here: http://www.crossingthethamesestuary.com/page9.html 2018 and 2019 on-line but I can call up 2011 to 2017 from an archive!

My sailing area is the east cost of Scotland from the Tyne to Orkney, so I'm a wee bit from the Thames I'm afraid !

The corrections up to 2012 are still shown, but the ones from 2013 on do not show. If a new chart has been issued, then surely ALL previous corrections should be deleted, and not just those from 2013 on. Daft system that causes confusion for the likes of me.
