Toast is essential so how do you make toast with an Origo stove?

    We have a Diablo gadget

Two slices of bread with butter and marmalade between them. Delicious!

We also have a 230vac toaster on board so when we go into a marina we can have a toast fest.

I agree that toast is essential which was an important consideration in our decision to buy a decent cooker with a grill which was not an Origo.

I use an old ordinary frying pan: heat it on the stove top, place bread in pan, wait a couple of minutes until toast smell starts, then flip and do the other side. Repeat as required. Don’t use a non stick pan as it’ll ruin the non stick surface.

Just be aware that the A’s the pan gets hotter the toast cooks faster..... and the pan gets very hot, so careful with it after use.

That's the way we do it. Loads of toast before we leave our marina and loads when we get back. In between, it's cold turkey.
