    Default Calibrate battery monitor

    Setting Amp/hours- battery rated at 82 Amp/hr (12v) but 3 year old, so today would be more like ??

    I think it doesn't matter. You will still set it at 82amp but be careful not to use more than X (eg 40amp?) amps.

    Start with fully charged take a reading (preset) and apply a load. Watch the battery voltage, when it reaches your comfortable minimum take reading from the monitor. Subtract that reading from the fully charged reading and use that number as fully charged preset.

    If battery is old and X is 60Ah then he'll finish it off by taking 40Ah a few times. OP needs to check actual capacity of his battery as suggested above.
