Default Aldi Exceptional deal; 20v Li Ion drill £12.99

Aldi sale offered currently in my local store. Whilst not professional quality but 3 yr warranty, £12.99 for a 20v 1.5Ahr Lithium Ion drill can't be bad for use as a 'spare'.

It is a good deal but I'm a cynic.

You will need to buy the battery and charger.

Once you have the battery and charger you will want to benefit from your investment - and buy the angle grinder etc

    I'd bite

    Hi Jonathan
Battery and fast charger included in the box!!
I've just replaced my Makita with another Makita but at this price I couldn't resist!
Probably not worth the travel costs for you to come and get one though!

Comes up as 'no longer available'.

Shame as I'm doing a job where 2 drill might be nice to avoid changing bits/drills.

I've had an Ikea £30 Li Ion drill for some years now, it is doing fine, light and gets into small spaces well, yet winds in quite a few 100mm long woodscrews on a charge.

The OPs link seems to be to an item that was available in January?

The current 20v drill offering states no battery or charger at £20:

I included the link for illustrative purposes only as it shows the drill I have just bought.

    Sadly it would be expensive.

But drill, battery and charger all included - it sounds really good value (I'd buy extra batteries (maybe even 3 drills) at that price.
