The comparison bit on netweather.tv shows all 4 forecasts in fairly close agreement.

Looks like going west has just gone west.

First day of Cowes week on Saturday... I'm currently not confident we'll get any racing. Rest of the week looks like it's going to alternate between about 10 knots and honking.
You never know, I might be right!

Mine obviously, yours is far to fragile and it only has one keel

Carrying a spare keel is always a good idea.

It was too rough in the Walton channel yesterday for my mate and his friend to get on board, from his dinghy so, if you don't mind, I might just opt out. I wouldn't want to alarm your wife.

Which weather sites do you all prefer, please?

I'm feeling a bit betrayed by windy.com today.

Passageweather for me, because I prefer a chart presentation. https://www.passageweather.com

i usually rely on Windy.com as my preferred choice, predictwind / passage weather / windguru as backups

All the same data anyway, I like windy as there's so much in there, satellite images, ship reports, live radar, recent wind history against forecasts and easy comparison of the different models. Great site
