Very pleasant indeed at the moment. A splash of rain in the night and now sunny and warm with only a moderate breeze. However, it could change.

Forecast here last night was 42mph wind.

So far the wind has not got above 15. where has it gone?

they were right about the rain, a thoroughly soggy day.

    burgundyben,

I can think of worse places to be stuck !

NB the pub up the hill as well as the Pilot Boat Inn past the houseboats; of course the first club you come to, BHYC is super-friendly and does food.

Chimet is giving a steady SW 7 at the moment so that's Chichester entrance off the list...

Wish I was stuck in Bembridge for the weekend, have fun.

Were sheltering in moulin blanc in Brest and its howling. Its been whistling all day but earlier the kite and windsurfers were blasting up and down.

We live on the Island so we have the car here too. Had a lovely day, been to Baywatch for dinner. Three year old with us so back on the boat for bedtime. Tis lovely here despite the wind.
