    Thanks for piccie of the one docked down. Used to see that class of vessel in Gib Bay quite a bit, in for bunkers but didnt ever see one in that condition.

    Saw it yesterday heading East on my way back from Cherbourg. Wondered what on earth it was when I saw it from a distance. Passed within half a mile of it.

    In the Amsterdam ship museum there is a model of a craft that was used to carry ships across the shallows of the Zuider Zee. I think it was called a 'camel', but it was over 30 yrs ago when I saw it.
