Sad news indeed, I have enjoyed Peter's writing for more years than I care to remember. RIP

    What a shame.

I have his useful book "Secret Anchorages of Brittany" on board

    Very sad.
Although basically a motor boater, he always bore us others in mind.
I would guess that his Waypoints Directory will outlast most of his work.

That is extremely sad news. I have enjoyed reading his articles for well over 30 years. I well remember one , many years ago, about an autumn cruise up the river Dart, enjoying the solitude with a few bottles of fine wine. I have just returned from an anchorage above Dittisham, which I have always imagined is where he was writing about. Next time I go up river, I shall enjoy a bottle of good wine and say a toast to PC.

    RIP, you will be missed.
