I was going to post my view, but Greg2 with his post #27 saved me the time to think about how to put it...

He has a point to be fair, and if it will not work out Fairline can easily change that. At least I hope that, if Ilver could do it I am sure Fline can.

I agree with his points and I showed you a boat, which even though luxurious and was innovative at the time did not sell much.

Yes Ilver has not the Global name Fairline has, but it Italy especially sub fifty feet they had a name as big as Colombo at the time and for details even better to that of the Abate's.

For example the 33 Piper ended selling much less to the similar priced but stern drive powered Colombo 32 Romance, though the kit of the Ilver was much higher pitched to make it look a proper big small boat. Shaft drives a highly speced bathroom etc etc

With current bathing platform flip the market is strictly yacht tender, and or Florida style villa. But hey you never know the market.
Price is interesting versus the offers from the other Brits, that is for sure.

They are to indicate whether the engines are in gear or not.

Whatever is the point in that?!

I agree it is a great looking boat. Apart from that anchor.

Handy for swimmers. New Hawk 38 has the same feature

Sorry, I don't get your point. Why does a flip up / down bathing platform make this strictly a yacht tender / Florida villa boat?

Is it because there is no paserelle (which obviously applies to many boats of this size that still sell perfectly well in the Med)?

I can see this being the next Bond boat it certainly is beautiful. I think it's a super day boat but cant see much cruising being done in one. Offered a traditional sports cruiser vs this I'd still go sports cruiser.
