    Default Outboard scratching topsides.

Dinghy left overnight bobbing away, outboard swung up, and prop scratching the topsides. Leave prop down in the water,? remove outboard? put foam around the prop?
    Any good suggestions?

We had this happen a while ago. Now we put a bucket over the end of the outboard

Leave the outboard down, move the dinghy’s mooring point so it doesn’t swing into the boat...

Hoist the dinghy on a halyard so it rests against the hull, clear of the water. Stops theft, fouling and banging on hull

Tie dinghy up fore and aft.

Leave the outboard down. One of my pet peeves is lifted outboards at the dinghy dock. They are a hazard.
