Default Biarritz to La Rochelle this week

Have a boat to move from above.

    But I am in Greece.

So, go home tonight. Fly out Thursday.

Only ever done Corunna to La Rochelle or UK.

Any wisdom on routing and weather? Much appreciated.

We keep our boat in LR.

You look like you have struck lucky with the weather this weekend.

If it is a delivery go offshore a few miles and just bang it out in one hit, looks like you may need a drop of diesel. Royan is there if you want a breather.

Was my feeling. Think we will be checking the diesel before we set off. One hit suits me.

There is the issue of the return flight or train. But not totally my problem.

Have something else to do next week. Not least check my own boat that has been parked up for the last month.

What do you mean by Biarritz? Harbour there is for very shallow draft boats. Anglet on the Adour, perhaps? If so entrance can be challenging in even moderate swell. Assume you are aware of Les Landes firing range which confines you to a 1 mile corridor along the coast. Don't count on entering Arcachon other than at HW -2 after advice from Cap Ferret. Bouys are unlit and difficult to see in daylight.
If you enjoy excitement try Pertuis de Maumousson: saves 5 NM but interesting entrance and passage under bridge.
