    I hope that trailer was never used on the road, as the tyre is criminally unfit for use. Hope the rest of the trailer is in better condition.
    But certainly if for road use replace wheels, tyres and hubs.

    If you want to replace those studs, take the hub off and rest the back of the stud over the gap in a vice. That gives a solid base to whack it out.
    If desperate, that wheel is fixable, but if your friend was capable, he would not be asking. Not seen three stud trailers wheels and those look to small to be replaced by car rims. The PCD of 2CV wheels is bigger than that, ditto Renault and 2CV wheels are 15"

    Edit: The Renault PCD is 130mm and some hubs I have from indespension are 100mm

    Re the wheel. I would cut out the centre and weld in a fresh plate. Take about an hour, the holes need to be carefully marked out...
