    It’s still in Altea, although we too love going Portsenso for an evening drink. We haven’t found anywhere to beat it for late evening sun and views.

    I don’t know if there are any visitors berths there, seems most visitors tie up at the entrance to the harbour against the tyres.

    Most of the best restaurant are Belgian run, there is a new French restaurant in the old town that is excellent. Maybe that’s the one?

    I thought that it would be nice to spend the day (and maybe tonight) at anchor. Then row ashore for lunch (and maybe dinner)

    why don't you swim ashore then?
    I went swimming yesterday was nice and warm (if not a bit breezy, should have gone before 3pm that the local wind picks up!)
    Not on the boat mind, just drove 5mins from home
