Default Selling a boat contrary to rules

I seem to have had a thread deleted. Having not said what or where, and asking for advice on what to include or not I am amazed. What's going on with moderation when you can get away with all sorts of personal abuse yet can't seem to get a view of ordinary boat owners.
I don't post much, and this seems to be the reason.

Perhaps it was viewed as an advert? It has happened..

But it wasn't an advert. I used to enjoy this forum but it seems to be a knee jerk moderation and while I may not be a favoured poster I feel a bit negative.

Suggest you go and ask on the Forum news and feedback thread. Mods usually answer queries posted there.

Thanks for your suggestion but if they can pick up on an innocent post they can answer to it as well.

If so it seems pretty innocuous

More to the point, it also seems not to have been deleted.

    Got it
Perhaps the OP could tell us precisely how the deleted thread differs from the approved one, other than its title.
