    Jesus Christ!

A new complete acrylic curved screen, 5 sections for a Martinique 38 is £600.....I thought that was reasonable.....now I should buy 2 and keep a spare!

Apologies, yes it it the frame that is required. I’ll get him to contact those companies. As far as I know the glass is flat not curved.

After reading the thread, I was going to ask what happened for needing to replace both the glass and the frame.
But needing to replace the s/steel frame only is even more unusual!
How on earth could it be damaged beyond repair, and leaving the glass intact...

Frame and glass got damaged but the frame seems to be the problem to replace. The glass is flat so easy to source. Some of the originals were aluminium and some were stainless steel. The owner wants a replacement stainless steel frame.
    Apologies for the confusion

Dino, what type of boat are we talking about here? It should be relatively easy (but probably still expensive) to fabricate from scratch. If it’s an English manufacture that’s still in business I’m sure they could help to some extent. It might also be an opportunity to improve the canopy set up - like changing it to something like the “pram hood” set up that Broom used from the mid 2000s.

I would link in with Morgan in Silverline, they had some stainless work done on Arthur last year that looked good!

Vas, I’m sure you can knock something up in Irocko to replace the stainless frame?
