    Default Princess(s) Bound for Baltimore

Seen at Greenock today on a Dutch ship bound for Baltimore USA. The one in the foreground is a Y78. The second one appears to be larger. Good news for the balance of trade.

The obscured boat behind the Y75 is a Y85. Yes, that's £8m of exports right there!

Weird destination. Makes me wonder if Maryland allows a more favourable tax treatment...

I know there are a few big brokerages in Annapolis,MD and they have a very big boat show. I know Southerly (Now Discovery?) have sales offices there so I wouldn't be surprised if the big guys weren't represented there too.

Lovely, I hope they bring years of pleasure to their future owners. I used to live near the Jaguar factory in Coventry and always watched with pride, transporters full of Jags off to the USA.

The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show has just finished, and Princess Yachts USA had a good array of boats on display there.

And the Powerboat Show at Annapolis was early last month.
