Well, seeing this is not the Lounge ...... plane flights, car trips from Calais (and presumably to a coast somewhere) when France has a brilliant public transport system seems to be an addition to global warming. Is any of it really necessary?

Thats why we are driving to CDG! Do you think anyone in their right mind would do it otherwise?

Anyone in their right mind would have referred to the directions on the airport website and used a satnav to get there. Or a telephone and a map if unfamiliar with modern technology.

Dunno about oop norf, but here we are having trouble with fuel stations being closed. Assorted main distribution outlets being blockaded by protesters over tax rebates for commercial transport. None of our local pumps have any fuel.
