No not unblemished ... it just means that your gang all share the same tendencies - So which port do you want me to arrive with the large aft deck covered in bikini clad ladies rushing about wrestling with lobsters, throwing off their clothes to stop the crabs biting them and generally making a racket pleading with you to come and help them ....... well thinking about it, seeing as I voted with you as well, I think I will keep them away and raise this large arch containing all the crabs and lobsters when way out to sea or in a private small cove with noone around such as Lulworth Cove...... But everything is proportional - do you have any problems with soft spots, unexpected rocks etc .... what tips can you pass on from your leg experience?

Re: A Leg Poll
Chris
Are you goint to fit legs on your 41 footer soon? If so I would be happy for you to take the lead in this and experiment so that you become our leg expert and then can train me what and where to do.
Anyway your the one who told me all about these small nudist beaches in drying harbours and got me started on this path .... so you should be the first to experiment.
There seems to be a really good bay/beach to do it on at ChrisCoombe

Drying out in general.
Sadly, the main rule is don't dry out anywhere you haven't inspected first.
Once you have established that your legs are fit for the purpose, as is the place and method of attaching them, you need to give them a fair chance by not parking one of them on a mooring sinker or on the edge of the channel f'rinstance.
Extensive drying areas of firm sand must be favourite, with good shelter and no chance of a forecast swell whilst re-floating. I once dried out up the Dart and an unusual swell came in - about 6 inches tops I recon - but you would have thought the keel was coming through the bottom of the yacht.
