It looks as though I might be shipped out to Brussels to save the EU from itself. The place is riddled with docks and canals, but I can't find any reference to berths for livaboards. (May as well try and make life bearable).
Anyone have any info?

Re: Brussels berths
Try the BYM forum. There are a couple of belgians who join in.
From memory of long ago, there are berths at the end of the ship canal, but there is a rather up-nosed yacht club there.

Re: Brussels berths
Have not been through fior a few years but my memory is that there are no good berths within striking distance of the city centre, the nearest being the Royal Brussels Yacht Club, which is a commute and has always appeared inordinately tatty and uninviting whenever I have passed by. There are possibilities perhaps south of Brussels: we once spent six months moored in the old line of the canal at Ronquieres, but again its a commute.

......and looking at your profile the main line of the canal is no place for a Hillyard!

Re: Brussels berths
Thanks for comments. Looks like I will have to take a flat short-time and have a better look around as things don't look promising.
BTW, the Hillyard will stay in Scotland.
