Danny - whoops - sorry - misread your post. I'm sure I used 9mm ply - which was the same thickness as the originals that I was replacing.

I converted 9mm to inches and found 11/32 inch exterior grade plywood listed at a local home improvement center's web site. A sheet of this is very reasonably priced.

I've read that the difference between exterior grade and marine plywood is the amount of voids in the laminate. I would think that this should work for this application, especially if painted with epoxy paint.
