Calorifier Installation

The only place to install a calorifier is about 6" above the engine header tank level !!!
I assume a separate header tank in the circuit would work.
Anyone solved this problem please.

I assume you mean that the whole calorifier is 6" above the header tank in which case a seperate header will solve the problem, if the heating coils are around the same level as the engine header it will work, just keep an eye on the coolant level initially till the air works its way out, or prime the calorifier system before you connect it up.
