I'm looking for a decent slipway with good access and somewhere to store the trailer for a couple of days. I'll be coming upriver from St.Kat's over the Bank Holiday then taking the old girl back to South Ferriby on the Humber.
I'm looking at either Nicholes or chambers boatyards. I'm not able to get down and check them out so any advise from the forumites in the area would be much appreciated .

Penton Hook Marina opposite Thorpe Park has all you need to slip, store and recover
All the best

Have you tried http://www.boatlaunch.co.uk? I'm not local to your area but have found the site good for where I launch in Scotland.

Re: Decent Slipway near Staines?
I think that's Tecmarine, lots of interesting old boats but no slipway.
I've booked it with Penton Hook marina now, but many thaks to all those who responded. Just hope the weather is OK as SWMBO will be "assisting".

Penton Hook is by far the best bet - your boat is your pride & joy I presume.

Re: Decent Slipway near Staines?
How much do they charge for trailer/car storage for a couple of days?
I am thinking of spending a week cruising the Thames and need a place to launch and stroe car/trailer.
