Well, let's not look to the past. I'm sure that it could be bettered, whatever it was. I mean, this is round of drinks in a pub, not the swallie after a taxpayer subsidised state banquet or anything like that.

A friend of mine (a crime reporter for a national paper) was rather pissed at a Police conference in Blackpool and decided to buy a round for the assembled Chief Constables and their oppos...he ordered 147 port and lemons! Is that a record?

I think Vodafone are in the Guinness Book of records for providing the biggest single sitting for a sit down meal, at one of the Vodafone Balls.

Not sure if they got an entry for the drinks however.
