Default Communication

A theme that seems to underlie many comments about the RYA is the effectiveness of its communication with those it seeks to represent. On the one hand, we have a single organisation, attempting to support a wide range of water-based activities. On the other hand we have a great mixture of individuals and groups (clubs, associations etc.), each with their own priorities. Effective two-way communication is not going to be easy, but if the RYA is going to be of any value, it is essential. So, as a starting point, lets get the RYA view on this.

How effective is the RYA in communicating, firstly with its members, and secondly, with the wider boating public?

How could the processes involved be improved?
