Default 27 foot sailing cruiser -suitable for anchoring in Turkey?

Thinking of going to turkey to spend a season on my Jeanneau and want to ask whether such a light cruiser ( quite frisky at anchor) is suitable for what I understand are busy and quite deep anchorages? Planning to come across next spring and wanted to go Bodrum to Marmaris area. All responses will be welcome with facts about suitable anchores and length of chain. Are there any recent changes to legislation for Uk registered boats? How are prices these days , marinas , cost of living..? Any new restrictions?
