Boat History

I am restoring a Solent 16, serial number 265. Built in England circa 1958 by Brookland Aviation Ltd. Northampton for Solent Marine Co. Ltd Guildford.

If anybody can tell me anything about the history of the boat or the companies mentioned above I would be very grateful.
