We have a fixed Motorola 9522TP with external aerial and data kit. Works well no complaints so far, although I do have unresolved issues with UGRIB downloads!
Airtime - prepaid look around Mailasail seem pretty reasonable and will give you good advice on what you need (for phones as well) depending on what you want to use the phone for.
No connection with them, but still happy with their service after 3 years.
