Oh, I didn't mean I was cross that he was at work doing the draw. I'm very pleased he's involved and glad you have raised so much money. I'm even going to cook him a lovely dinner when he gets home

The reason they can spend soo long on the draw is because they have minions like me to do the real work whilst they are pretending to be Eamonn Holmes and Dale Winton.

PS could somebody tell SWMBO that singing "there's a hole in my bucket" at the top of her voice is neither clever or funny.

Re: YBW Raffle draw (sort of live)
And then it was all over.
A huge thanks to Kim and all at IPC especially Keith, as if it wasn't for him, this raffle would not have been the success it is, and we certainly wouldn't have raised as much money. Thankyou very much Keith.
Also thanks to every single individual on here, who have given Kirsty and i so much support over the past 8months. For donating so much money to a charity that has saved Callums life on several occasions, and to all the companies and individuals for donating the fabulous prizes.
I think you'll all agree with me that, that was a thumping success.
Congratulations to all who won, and bad luck to those who didn't.
Sincere thanks too all.
Alistair, Kirsty and Callum.

Yes, do agree with the comments.
Quite a party feel, and so nice to have been part of that crowd.
Hope that mean mummy has now handed over the hand held, and that daddy works quicker for Callum now.
So much happens in life that passes us by, here it has been nice to be allowed to be an onlooker.

Working late , just got in, flicked through the whole 15 pages. That was GREAT. What was the final total? I know it,s probably in there somewhere, but I,m too lazy to trawl through that lot again tonight to find out. Stonking idea and Fair Play to all involved.

It was your idea! You, Kirsty, Callum, the forumites and the people who donated prizes deserve the thanks.
I've just had a lovely dinner!

You and me both Andrew. I told 'em a watched lottery never wins.
Never mind, I think I got my money's worth by reading the posts as Keith fiddled, I mean, drew each ticket, reading Pete's frantic Gooseberry posts with a failing battery, sudden posts from ybw's backroom boys, who probably do most of the work, Kim putting in an appearance and seeing the final sum raised. It just can't get any better.......until the next one, that is!

Re: YBW Raffle draw (sort of live)
Guessing I did not win anything, had to go out at page two.
Did something silly, it occurred to me that it would be easier to follow and search later if I have the thread emailed so I made it a favourite.
Feels like my email has been mail-bombed tonight, gees you lot can go on can't ya!

Congrats to all involved and the donaters, can't believe I didn't even win a key ring, pah!

I won a tin of antifouling on the 06-06-06 with ticket 1666, look out barnacles, it's going to be a devil of a job to stick to my bottom in future.
Callum looks a cool dude in his shades.
Well done everyone and especially well done Alistairr.
